Are there any contraindications in using the LYMA Laser PRO?

The LYMA Laser PRO technology is very safe to use as it does not cause any cellular damage during the renewal and restoration process. However we advise customers of the following important information:

  • Do not use this device if your skin is light sensitive or you are currently using medication that may cause skin sensitivity to light. Doing so may result in a photosensitive reaction.
  • Do not use the device over any areas associated with the following medical conditions: tumors, melanoma, overactive thyroid, or fungal skin infections.
  • Do not use the device on infants or children under the age of 21.
  • Do not use the device to treat any other condition that is not detailed in the indications for use. The device has not been tested for any other conditions and the risks are unknown.
  • Do not use the device to treat anyone who suffers from Lupus erythematosus, photosensitive eczema or Albinism, as this may cause a severe skin reaction.
  • The LYMA Laser PRO has not been tested on pregnant women and therefore the risk to the fetus or pregnant woman is unknown. Administration of treatment during pregnancy is entirely at practitioner or user’s discretion.
  • This device has not been tested over breast implants and the risk is unknown. Administration of treatment over this area is entirely at practitioner or user’s discretion.
