Does the LYMA Laser emit radiation? Is it safe to use near my eyes?

Yes, LYMA Laser is a laser device, and by definition, lasers work by emitting a concentrated beam of light – a form of electromagnetic radiation. This is the same sense in which visible light, infrared heat lamps, and radio waves are all "radiation" – it does not mean ionizing radiation like X-rays or nuclear radiation, which pose a fundamentally different kind of risk.

The LYMA Laser's unique ultra-diffused lens makes it safe to reduce fine lines around the eyes or as an under-eye skin tightening device, no goggles are required. Do not look directly into the lens.

For fine lines and crow's feet, hold the device in position over the area rather than gliding. LYMA Laser users report a visible improvement in the appearance of under-eye lines with consistent use.

If you have a pre-existing eye condition, get medical advice before adding the Laser, or any new device, to your routine.
