LYMA's breakthrough laser technology is recognised by an unprecedented 38 global patents. These include a double-diffused lens, which uniquely activates and circulates maximum power in the skin and its retina technology ensuring safe use around the eyes.

Five academic papers published in the Aesthetic Surgery Journal, one of the world's leading medical publications, confirm the power of the LYMA Laser Technology. They include two world-firsts on the clinical applications of low-level laser photobiomodulation and the first study into gene expression in the dermis, proving that LYMA Laser technology expressed 45 genes while LED only expressed one.

This cold laser technology was originally developed in a Leipzig research centre as a method of painlessly treating damaged tissue and cartilage.
