Why is the LYMA Laser PRO the most transformative laser ever engineered?
LYMA Laser PRO is the most powerful zero-damage laser available, created for use in clinics and at home. Engineered with three 500mW near-infrared lasers at a wavelength of 808nm. The laser delivers monochromatic, coherent and polarized near-infrared low-level laser technology into cells, with a biological penetration depth of up to 10cm to transform more skin conditions than any other device on the market on the face and body.
What is the difference between the LYMA Laser and the LYMA Laser PRO?
LYMA Laser technology is the world’s most powerful anti-aging laser therapy.
The LYMA Laser incorporates a 500mW near-infrared Low Level Laser, the most powerful at home laser, engineered to treat the face and targeted areas. LYMA is the only cosmetic laser brand to engineer its devices with patented retina technology which allows you to treat the delicate eye area without the need for safety goggles.
The LYMA Laser Pro takes the unrivalled power of the LYMA Laser and turbo-charges it. Housed with three near-infrared 500mW lasers to give it three times the power, while a lens nearly four times bigger means larger areas can be quickly and effectively treated in less time. Plus, it makes it easier to use on the body as well as the face.
The LYMA Laser and LYMA Laser PRO are engineered with technology which is able to penetrate through every layer of the skin, down to the muscle that supports it, lifting and tightening to restore the underlying architecture on which the skin sits. And it does this while simultaneously stimulating the production of collagen and elastin in an unprecedented reversal of the skin’s ageing process. Fine lines and wrinkles are radically reduced. Pigmentation, stretch marks and scarring are faded. Skin elasticity is vastly improved. Skin not only looks younger, it is younger. Welcome to a new era in transformation.
Can I use the LYMA Laser PRO all over my body and on my face?
Absolutely yes. The LYMA Laser PRO has been designed for use on all areas of the face and body with astonishing results. Improvements are seen on even the most stubborn of areas, previously considered untreatable, such as crepey upper arms and stubborn cellulite. However we recommend seeking advice from your Medical Practitioner before using the device over any areas associated with the following medical conditions; tumors, overactive thyroid, fungal skin infections, implanted pacemaker or melanoma.
Is the LYMA Laser PRO painful to use?
There is absolutely no pain or discomfort experienced when using the LYMA Laser PRO. LYMA’s patented laser technology is engineered to diffuse the laser light, removing all the laser’s intense heat by the time the light reaches the skin.
Is the LYMA Laser Pro easy to use on the go?
LYMA Laser technology has been engineered as portable, to empower people to easily integrate into their daily schedule and use on the go. LYMA Laser PRO’s cordless technology has been optimized to use on clean skin or over makeup, even over sunscreen. Transforming your skin on your own terms has never been easier.
Can I use the Laser PRO on Black and Brown skin?
The LYMA Laser and LYMA Laser PRO have been engineered to optimize all skin tones. Because no cells are damaged during the treatment, there is no risk of inflammation, scarring or hyper-pigmentation which makes other laser technology potentially unsafe for skin tones which are at risk of scarring through technologies that damage skin to stimulate collagen production and leave the skin with dark pigmentation spots.
Why are beauty LED devices so inferior to LYMA Laser technology?
When questioning the biological effect of a light source in skin and the body, you need to first question the light source itself, as there is no benefit to the light whatsoever, if it’s unable to reach the area in the body you are looking to treat. So for example, if you want to improve your skin, the light has to reach the dermis (base layer) where biological change happens, or into muscle tissue if you are looking to reduce pain.
The second question you need to factor is light penetration, of which there are two types. Relative penetration and absolute penetration.
Relative penetration of light is solely dependent on wavelength, which is another name for colour. Each wavelength (colour) of light has a different level of relative penetration. So for example blue light wavelength will never have as deep a relative penetration as red light wavelength and red light wavelength never penetrate as deeply as near-infrared light wavelength.
Red light is extinguished some 4–5 mm beneath the surface of the skin whereas ultraviolet hardly penetrates at all and blue barely 1 mm into tissue. However, relative penetration is solely based on wavelength, ONLY laser light has absolute penetration, which is the biological healing aspect to light. ALL LED biological penetration is lost at the skin’s surface.
However relative penetration of a light source is NOT the nature of penetration that’s associated with the biological healing aspect of light, this is down to the absolute penetration of a light source. For a light source to have absolute penetration, the light source has to have three properties. It has to be coherent (run in a straight line), be polarised (the light beams run parallel to each other) and be monochromatic (one colour). These three properties are exclusive to laser light.
LED is not coherent (the beams do not run in a straight line), are not polarised (the light is scattered and runs off in all different directions) and not monochromatic (the light is always mixed with white).
So why is absolute penetration important to factor when it comes to biological healing of a light source inside the body?
If you want a light source to penetrate into the body AND have a healing effect, the absolute penetration of a light source has to be able to penetrate through dense tissue such a skin without losing absolute penetration power. The issue is that studies have demonstrated that LED light loses 90% of its power in the first micrometers beneath the skin’s surface. So by the time the absolute penetration of an LED reaches the dermis the majority of power has been lost.
This is not the same for Low Level Laser as engineered inside the LYMA Laser, which is proven to penetrate up to 10cm beneath the skin’s surface without losing absolute penetration capability.
This is what makes LYMA Laser technology the world’s most powerful skincare technology, with 100x more biological healing than LED, and able to transform more skin issues than any other cosmetic device on the market.
