What is the difference between the LYMA Laser with red lights and blue lights?
The LYMA Laser has become iconic for any number of its features. Its cold laser light, which turns back time by reviving the battery cells in every layer of your skin; our sleek design that allows you to take clinic-grade technology wherever you go; but perhaps most symbolically, the first Laser ever created by LYMA contained a blue LED light to show when it was switched on (in addition to the laser light of course).
Are the red and blue LYMA lasers different?
The red LED lights are power indicator lights and if you have a version with red LED lights that signifies you have the latest model. The model with blue LED power indicators are from an outdated version which we have not sold for over two years.
The breakthrough technology that set LYMA's at-home cosmetic device apart is the central diffused laser beam which puts inferior LED technology in the shade.
So why the difference?
We wanted the LYMA Laser to be thoroughly vetted and cleared by every possible regulatory body because LYMA is committed to science-backed, results-focused technology. That's why we ensured the LYMA Laser received FDA clearance, giving our American audience confidence in the safety and credibility of the device.
As part of that process, we were asked to make the LYMA's four LED power indicator lights red. It takes away nothing from the LYMA's power, and so we agreed.
If you are offered a LYMA Laser with blue LED power indicators it will have the same power as the current more up-to-date version but is an older model. With technology we always advise to choose the most up to date upgraded version.
